Containerized Water Treatment Systems

Containerized water treatment systems house a complete treatment train — from raw water intake through disinfection — inside a standard shipping container or skid, so the plant can be manufactured, tested and shipped as a single unit rather than built up on site.

Ion Exchange also offers a Disaster Management Unit variant of the containerized platform, purpose-built for emergency and relief deployment where a treatment plant needs to be operational within hours of arriving on site.

How It Works

Process equipment — pumps, filtration media, membrane skids, disinfection dosing and control panels — is pre-assembled and pre-piped inside the container at the factory, so on-site work is limited to positioning the unit, connecting feed water and power, and commissioning.

Because the container is the plant, transport and installation timelines shrink from the months a conventional civil-built plant needs to days or weeks — which is what makes the format suited to remote sites, disaster response and temporary project camps.
