ANDICOS® Waste To Energy integrates INDION IPC MBR and INDION Advanced Bio-methanation process technologies to treat a combination of solid waste generated in the sewage treatment process together with organic kitchen waste generated in homes and communities — recovering energy from two waste streams that are usually handled separately.
The INDION Integrated Waste Management System applies the same core technologies to liquid waste (sewage and sullage) alongside organic kitchen waste, giving homes and communities a single system for both waste types rather than separate sewage and kitchen-waste handling.
How It Works
The INDION IPC MBR stage combines biological treatment with membrane filtration to process the liquid waste (sewage or sullage) fraction to a high standard.
In parallel, the INDION Advanced Bio-methanation process anaerobically digests the organic kitchen waste fraction, generating biogas as sewage sludge and kitchen waste are broken down together rather than in separate, single-stream systems.
