Two leading manufacturers of high quality industrial grade paper used for corrugated packaging products in Southeast Asia were facing major issues of meeting stricter environment compliance norms for discharge of waste water, high costs of waste treatment and reducing the water footprint. Ion Exchange supplied state-of-the-art waste water treatment plants of capacity 11000 m³/d and 12000 m³/d for their manufacturing units in Philippines and Indonesia respectively to meet the above objectives along with resource recovery (energy).
