One of India’s leading FMCG companies faced acute challenges of water scarcity and stringent discharge norms at one of their manufacturing facilities. Ion Exchange’s expertise was sought to mitigate these challenges. Ion Exchange proposed to treat the complex effluent in their facility and was engaged in the designing, manufacturing, supply and installation of a 5 MLD Effluent Treatment Plant with complete Zero Liquid Discharge for them. The plant which was commissioned during the pandemic not only helps them to adhere to environment pollution control guidelines but also reduces the operating cost by reusing the treated water in the manufacturing process thus meeting sustainability objectives.

For two leading Paper manufacturers, Southeast Asia
Two leading manufacturers of high quality industrial grade paper used for corrugated packaging products in Southeast Asia were facing major issues of meeting stricter environment compliance norms for discharge of waste water, high costs of waste treatment and reducing the water footprint. Ion Exchange supplied state-of-the-art waste water treatment plants of capacity 11000 m³/d and 12000 m³/d for their manufacturing units in Philippines and Indonesia respectively to meet the above objectives along with resource recovery (energy). These solutions from Ion Exchange contribute significantly to achieving a circular economy and thereby are a step towards realizing Sustainable Development Goals.
