David Rasquinha is an Independent Director at Ion Exchange (India) Ltd.
Mr. David Rasquinha holds a Postgraduate Degree in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, where he was awarded the Gold Medal in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (First Class) from the University of Mumbai (Bombay University).
He served as the Managing Director of Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank) and was associated with the bank since 1985. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience across multiple domains, including export credit, structured finance, project finance, risk management, capital markets and treasury operations.
He played a key role in the establishment of an export factoring joint venture with the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Mr. Rasquinha was also a member of the National Jury for the CII-EXIM Award for Business Excellence, which recognises organisations excelling in Total Quality Management based on the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Model.
