Mrs. Alka Arora Misra is an Independent Director at Ion Exchange (India) Ltd.
She is a distinguished post-graduate in Economics and a Gold Medallist from Allahabad University.
With over 35 years of service in the Indian Railways, Mrs. Misra is a senior bureaucrat who has held diverse leadership roles across infrastructure and logistics management, human resource development, education and inter-ministerial coordination. She retired as Additional Member (Human Resources) of the Railway Board and served as the Vice Chancellor of the National Rail and Transport University, Vadodara.
She was also the Chairperson of the Odisha Skill Development Authority and the Chief Executive Officer of the World Skill Centre (WSC), a premier advanced skill training institute established by the Government of Odisha in collaboration with the Institute of Technical Education Services (ITEES), Singapore.
