Compressed Biogas (CBG) Plant:

Biogas is a high-energy gas generated through the anaerobic decomposition of biomass. It is derived from various waste and biomass sources, including agricultural residues, cattle dung, sugarcane press mud, municipal solid waste, and sewage treatment plant waste.

As a renewable energy source, biogas primarily comprises methane (~60%), carbon dioxide (~40%), and trace amounts of hydrogen sulfide. It can be utilized directly as a fuel or further processed and upgraded by removing carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). This processed biogas, known as Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG), contains over 90% methane and offers an energy profile comparable to that of natural gas.
