The existing chemically sanitisable RO-EDI system did not meet the demands of regulated markets and besides, required considerable maintenance. The customer sought a dependable system vendor for a new unit that would meet their need for high purity water, and entrusted Ion Exchange with the responsibility.<\/span><\/span><\/span>                        <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"tab-pane elementkit-tab-pane elementor-repeater-item-94dfaef \" id=\"content-94dfaef69e75e4b891dc\" role=\"tabpanel\"\n                         aria-labelledby=\"content-94dfaef69e75e4b891dc-tab\">\n                        <div class=\"animated fadeIn\">\n                            <span style=\"font-family: \"Open Sans\", Sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">We recommended a Hot Water Sanitisable INDION High Purity Water (HPW) plant consisting of:<\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ultra filtration<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Softening<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Heat Sanitisable Reverse Osmosis (RO)<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Heat Sanitisable Ultra Filtration system<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<span style=\"font-family: \"Open Sans\", Sans-serif;color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Since the customer was using surface water, UF was incorporated in pre-treatment to handle suspended solids and colloids. A heat sanitisable UF system was also offered as a polishing unit downstream of the EDI to remove endotoxins\/bacteria from the product water.
