As unidades de polimento de condensado s\u00e3o normalmente instaladas em centrais supert\u00e9rmicas com o objetivo principal de melhorar a qualidade da \u00e1gua da caldeira. Os benef\u00edcios do polimento condensado s\u00e3o um arranque mais r\u00e1pido e, como resultado, as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de carga total s\u00e3o atingidas mais cedo, proporcionando benef\u00edcios econ\u00f3micos. O processo normalmente leva cerca de 7 a 8 dias, ap\u00f3s os quais a resina cati\u00f4nica \u00e9 convertida na forma de am\u00f4nio e o polidor \u00e9 ent\u00e3o operado no ciclo de am\u00f4nia. A experi\u00eancia tem demonstrado que a opera\u00e7\u00e3o do ciclo do hidrog\u00e9nio \u00e9 quase sempre isenta de problemas e produz condensado com a qualidade exigida. O s\u00f3dio, cloreto e s\u00edlica do tambor da caldeira aumentam dentro de 2 a 3 dias de opera\u00e7\u00e3o do polidor no ciclo de am\u00f4nio.<\/p><p>A separa\u00e7\u00e3o da resina de troca i\u00f4nica em um leito misto \u00e9 feita por retrolavagem da unidade com \u00e1gua quando a resina cati\u00f4nica se deposita na parte inferior e a resina ani\u00f4nica leve fica na parte superior. No entanto, o processo quase sempre resulta na presen\u00e7a de uma pequena porcentagem de resinas cati\u00f4nicas na por\u00e7\u00e3o ani\u00f4nica e vice-versa \u2013 fen\u00f4meno denominado contamina\u00e7\u00e3o cruzada. Na regenera\u00e7\u00e3o da resina ani\u00f4nica com \u00e1lcali, a resina cati\u00f4nica presente na por\u00e7\u00e3o ani\u00f4nica \u00e9 convertida na forma de s\u00f3dio e da mesma forma, a resina ani\u00f4nica presente na por\u00e7\u00e3o cati\u00f4nica \u00e9 convertida na forma de cloreto.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
